Before starting up Gisborne Cab Co in 2009 we ran  SunRanges Taxis – 17 taxis – for over ten years.  All drivers live in or around Gisborne and as well as being responsible are punctual and reliable.

Drivers and cabs are accredited and licenced through the Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria.

Our rates are set to be the most affordable in the Macedon Ranges.

They are $2.40/km and a $6.00 booking fee, and if applicable, CityLink tolls.

For bookings between midnight to 05:00 am there’s a 20% loading.

Where possible, yes please. The more notice we have means that your booking can be fitted into the schedule – especially at busy times.

For early morning bookings – especially Airport drop off or pick up – please give us 12 hours notice.

Yes,  you sure can. A minimum fare of $15 applies for a (up to 5 km) local booking, in or around Gisborne.

No … our credit card fare payments carry a 0% surcharge.

I highly recommend Gisborne limo-Cabs, for their courteous & prompt service. In the past I have used other taxi companies and have at times been very displeased with what they call service. At 89 years of age I need someone who is always reliable, as Gisborne limo-Cabs are.

We are so happy to have found out Sandra & Peters’ Gisborne Limo Cabs – so spotless the service, friendly and professional, always on time.

My home address is a bit tricky to find and taxis used to get lost. With Gisborne Cabs, I have found the lady who takes the booking  always pleasant and competent, so the cars always turn up – on time – either going to the airport in the early hours or coming home late at night. All of the drivers are first rate. Highly rated cab service.

I used to book a taxi to take me to the Station at 06.00 on Saturday morning. Sometimes they didn’t turn up, nearly always they were late. Luckily a friend put me onto Gisborne Cab Co; there hasn’t been a problem since.

I’ve given up on taxis. Cars, when they turn up, are often unclean or rattlers, and their drivers often don’t talk, or if they do, it’s on their mobile phone – while driving. Gisborne limo-cabs are who I request now, their cars are spot on and their drivers are tops.

The drivers of OTHER cab services: Don’t know addresses of their booked destination. Do not open doors. Do not assist in fastening seatbelts. Don’t smile or greet passengers warmly.

They operate a safe & secure service, especially at night going to or from the Airport. All of their drivers know how to find my address, which is an improvement on the taxis (that I used before) who got lost on country roads because their GPS nav systems do not get a signal near our home
